Meet Abigail:
Hello, my name is Abigail Parrish. I am the co-author of the book Princess Training and the creator of Princess Training Central.
Do you feel the need for encouragement and fresh ideas in learning and growing your faith. Then I am happy to say you have come to the right place! Princess Training Central is all about providing girls with a safe place to develop their commitment to Christ.
Want to know a little more about the inspiration behind Princess Training Central?
After graduating high school, I went through some pretty rocky years. In those years I had a couple of relationships which ended in a lot of heartbreak. I faced many changes and challenges in my daily life with learning how to “adult.” Life was definitely not turning out the way I thought it would. Honestly, at first I did not know how to deal with all of these predicaments. I had a lot of questions that got me searching and studying through my Bible. During these years of hard changes, I learned many valuable lessons like how to set healthy boundaries, finding joy in the midst of unpleasant circumstances, how to deal with stress, etc.. Through all of it, God was drawing me closer to Him. He was getting me to the point of surrender to HIS will for my life and showing me that He was enough for me. I can now look back on those times as a hard but beautiful piece of my story. I want to share with girls some resources and advice on dealing with many of the issues “growing up” challenges us with. I want to give you hope that even through some of your toughest struggles God is fighting for you! I also want to create a community so no girl will have to feel alone in her faith and struggles. All along the way I hope to have fun meeting, interacting with, and learning from my fellow sisters in Christ.
Thank you so much for choosing to be a part of this blog! I hope you enjoy! 😀
Meet Jenalyn:
Hi, my name is Jenalyn Wilson, I am the sister of Abigail and co-author of Princess Training.
After high school, I went through some challenging times. I had a hard time seeing God’s plan in my single years and in my broken relationships. I also struggled with learning to adult and finding joy in the midst of trials, just to name a few. After Abigail and I both went through a broken relationship, we got together to study and encourage one another. Through that study, I realized that I was not alone in my struggle. God has an amazing plan in every season, and He wants us to trust and seek him. Even now as a married woman, I am still facing new challenges and learning to keep seeking God. I hope this blog will show you that you are not alone in your daily struggle and that it also will encourage and help you to seek after God in every season.
Thank you so much for joining us. I hope you are blessed by what you see.
